At the Initiative for Community Resilience (ICR), we believe that lasting change begins with empowered people and resilient systems. Since our establishment in 2023, ICR has been committed to strengthening the social, cognitive, and economic wellbeing of communities across Uganda, with a focus on inclusive, locally driven solutions.
Guided by our mission and values, we expand access to STEM.E education, practical skills training, and professional developmentâparticularly for women and young people. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community partnerships, we aim to inspire ambition, leadership, and self-reliance.
As communities become more digitally connected, ICR places strong emphasis on digital resilience and cybersecurity. We promote safe, responsible, and inclusive use of technology to ensure that digital tools empower communities while protecting individuals and institutions from emerging risks.
Rooted locally and connected globally, we welcome partners, volunteers, and supporters who share our commitment to building resilient communities for generations. Together, we are creating pathways to opportunity, dignity, and sustainable impact.
